With the release of version 3.8, ProtoGod players will experience their first major leak about a new area of Fontaine, including the full suite of Hydro Traveler abilities. While Protoss characters come in many shapes and sizes, from all corners of Tivat, wielding visions of any element and wielding weapons of any type, what makes Travelers unique is that their element is not fixed. Over the course of several updates to Protoss, players have unlocked Anemo, Geo, Electro, and Dendro elements for the Traveler's arsenal, and now Fontaine is looking to add Hydro to the mix. Players can prepare enough Genshin Impact Genesis Crystals in the game.

The Dendro Traveler in Proto-God is a surprisingly powerful option for many high-end teams, especially those that rely on the Eightfold Witch for aggravated reactions or General Thunderbolt's elemental charge scaling. With Hydro becoming a featured element of Fontaine, Genshin Impact players are hoping that HoYoverse will continue Sumeru's momentum and provide Traveler with a new suite of abilities that can compete with the meta.

Posted by No-Lifeguard4399 on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, thanks to Mero and Blednaya's leaks, fans can now get a glimpse of the Hydro Traveler and its ability suite. Traditionally, the Traveler's Sword's normal and power-up attacks remain the same. However, the new Aquacrest Saber will allow the Traveler to effectively become a machine gun in exchange for draining their lifesteal. Clicking on the new Elemental skill will unleash a raging wave of water, while holding it down for up to six seconds will cause the Traveler to continuously fire dewdrops at enemies.

Oddly enough, Aquacrest Saber will also interact with the new Spiritsbreath mechanic, and characters from Fontaine will have a damage bonus from Pneuma Alignment or Ousia Alignment. Given Fontaine's theme of duality, Spiritsbreath is seen as a gameplay extension of that idea. While it remains to be seen how the new mechanic will affect Fontaine's combat, or even if it will find its way to the Spiral Abyss in Protoss, Lynette, Lyney, Freminet and Hydro Traveller all seem to interact with it to some degree.

Traveller's new elemental burst is called "Rising Waters" and, according to the description, it appears to be similar to the slow-moving version of the elemental burst in Anemo's Traveller kit. To help combat Aquacrest Saber's lifesteal depletion, Hydro Travelers will have a passive talent that will restore their lifesteal with each source drop collected that is generated by using a held version of Aquacrest Saber when it hits an enemy. Overall, it seems too early to judge the strength of Hydro Traveller in Protoss, but on paper, it does look like a unique piece of kit. See https://www.u4game.top/ for more details on the game guide.
