But will it be enough? SteamDB reveals that, as far as PC players go, interest has dropped off and the season pack releases haven’t made a dent. Reviewing the game we stated that, “With more horde maps, marine classes and perhaps a mission tweak here and there, we could imagine returning to Aliens: Fireteam Elite time and time again”. But it’s taken nearly a year to get this new class and the game is still sorely in need of new maps.

Alongside the new class kit, the update also introduces the ability to customise your loadouts via the presets feature. You're given ten customisable preset slots for each of the game's weapons and class kits, which allows you to switch your Marine loadouts on the fly without having to reassign cosmetics, consumables, weapons, or perks. Speaking of items, more than 30 new weapons, head accessories, cosmetics, and more have been added to the game for you to unlock, as well as a host of Challenge Cards.
